The Six Dinner Course

Course Description
Have you ever gone to a Spanish or Latin American restaurant and wondered what the banners on the wall said? Perhaps suspected that those who could read the Mexican menu had a greater variety of options (possibly even at a better price)?

This is your chance to have the mysteries revealed! Hispaniola  is offering a 6 dinner course. Every other week, the class will gather at a local Latin restaurant. The class will start with 1 hour of instruction over drinks and appetizers. Then the dining begins; you can have anything on the menu, as long as you can ask for it in Spanish. The Hispaniola facilitator can help you if you get stuck or hungry, as the serving staff speak no English (or will do their best to pretend that they don’t speak English). All vocabulary will be illustrated with both traditional and simplified characters, so that you will be prepared for Latin restaurants anywhere. This course is an excellent introduction to Hispano-Latin cuisine and culture for anyone planning travel or business in Latin America or Spain.

The course price includes the lesson, the dinner, and course materials (tea is included, but all other beverages are extra).

As with all Hispaniola courses, the materials include text, flashcards and computer software to reinforce your learning. $299.00
