Can I visit my sponsored child?

Yes!  If you would like to meet the child you sponsored, please let us know in advance of your visit. The children are very excited to meet their sponsors and you will enjoy a special relationship with your sponsored child that is extremely rewarding. Spending some time with your sponsored child is the best gift you can give, and we will will arrange for you to have time to read to and play with your child.
 

Don’t forget that a simple visit can turn into an unforgettable experience that can mark your sponsored child’s life.

 If you want to visit your sponsored child with any organization in the country, here are some tips and recommendations: try to get your family involved contact your organization before you are planning to come and ask about the ages of each member of the family plan to bring gifts for your sponsored kid and at least a little something for the rest of the siblings in the house it’s very nice when the mother and father receive something, too a nice piñata party can be organized to celebrate with the friends of the child that you sponsor.

Here is a list of gifts you can consider bringing:

For the children:

clothes, shoes, toys (not with batteries), balls (soccer, playground, etc.), candies, multi-vitamins, coloring books, crayons, bubbles, rulers, notebooks, pencils, pens, and school supplies.

For the mother:

shoes, clothes, soap, perfumes, makeup, candles, towels, etc.

For the father:

shoes, flashlight, an army knife, a watch, a jacket, tools a hat or cap.

You may want to buy provisions for your sponsored family, you can go to a local supermarket to buy some groceries (rice, beans, oil, powdered milk, ketchup, matches, sugar, fruits, etc.). About US$ 50 will cover the cost of these groceries.
