Dominican Cubaney Centenario makes the world’s best rums top 10
Santo Domingo.- The Cubaney Centenario was selected by the Beverage Testing Institute (BTI) of Chicago as the best rum produced in the Dominican Republic, and one of the tworld´s best 10.
With a score of 94 points on a scale of 100, the rum, described as an exceptional drink, received the Institute´s prestigious gold medal.
The Cubaney Centenario is produced by Oliver & Oliver, a company with facilities outside Santo Domingo.
Other Dominican winners were the Opthimus XO -also produced by Oliver & Oliver-, which came in second place; Matusalen 18, in third place and Barceló Imperial in fourth.
